Asahi’s Silver + Black Exhibition acknowleges Japanese ‘Wabi-Sabi’
Asahi Super Dry beer launched Asahi Silver + Black, a unique combination of art, photography, fashion and design culture at the aMBUSH Gallery in Waterloo.
Over 150 invited guests attended this cutting edge exhibition that sees the collaboration of Asahi with internationally renowned artists. Each piece has a common thread – the Japanese notion of ‘wabi-sabi’ – finding beauty in imperfect things.
A scrumptious menu designed by Izakaya Den included some of the most delicious prawns we’d had in a while. Guests, clutching their cold Asahi beers, circled and re-circled the two spaces comparing thoughts and impressions of the works at length.
