An Officer and a Gentleman The Musical jets into Sydney for its world premier performance
An Officer and a Gentleman The Musical had its world premier in Sydney at The Star’s Lyric Theatre receiving a standing ovation and later, mixed reviews. The Royal Australian Navy Band trumpeted in the opening night audience made up of VIPs, celebrities, Naval dignitaries and media along with friends and family of the cast.

Waxworks museum in Sydney! MiSociety pondered, while negotiating Sydney’s Darling Harbour on our way to the Official Launch party of Madame Tussauds, as to whether, amongst the kaleidoscope of things to do in Sydney, locals and tourists would really be that enthused about a concept from 1770. Allie Campbell has never entered an art competition before. As Allie was announced as the 2012 winner of the Bald Archy Art Prize at the Independent Theatre in North Sydney she, along with her attending family, yelped for joy. Allie won the coveted prize for her ‘portraits’ of Julia Gillard and Tony Abbott framed in the bed pans that were joyfully donated by hospital staff when they knew what she wanted them for.
