Colin Lancley Exhibition Opening, Australian Galleries

Colin Lancley works bring out the cream of the art world
Colin Lancley is one of Australia’s foremost artists who I have known for many years so I called in to the opening night of his latest exhibition at the Australian Galleries at Paddington.
Art notables filled the room and included Danial Thomas, cartoonist Bruce Petty, author Philip Knightley, Sulman Prize winner Rodney Pople, Garry Sheard and restaurateur Tony Bilson.
The exhibition of Colin Lancley’s work runs until 7 August 2010 and was launched by Terrance Maloon. This is a wonderful exhibition and the price tags ranging up to $95,000 didn’t slow the collectors as there were red dots everywhere on the works.
