‘Dirty Work’ by Glen McNamara book launch

Dirty Work is an understatement!
Glen McNamara, author of ‘Dirty Work’, became a constable in the NSW Police Force at 19. Graduating to Detective he soon found himself immersed in Sydney’s seedy underworld and dealing with the likes of Warren Lanfranchi, Neddy Smith and disgraced cop Roger Rogerson.
What Glen discovered was the shocking reality that the NSW police were involved in a protection racket saving the likes of paedophiles Dolly Dunn and Colin Fisk.
Glen risked his life and that of his wife by going undercover against his own superiors.
No, this is not a fictional crime novel – this book is factual – it happened – right here in NSW.
I haven’t read ‘Dirty Work’ yet but I have now met Glen McNamara and Tim Priest (who launched ‘Dirty Work’) and spoken with other ex police at the book’s launch and I am in awe of their courage and strenth in speaking out about past wrongs in the NSW police system. That, along with my brief initial perusal of the book, marks it as surely being compulsive reading for anyone in not only NSW but Australia. I can’t wait to get into it.
