V8′s go Pink – Superstar ‘Pink, is the new face of V8 Supercars Australia
V8 Supercars Australia 2010 season launch party was indeed ’The Greatest Show on Wheels’. In a haze of light, colour, twirling and romping carnival characters ’dagwood dogs’ were washed down with champers, beer and cocktails.
As the smoke cleared the big announcement every one was anticipating (well those that didn’t already know anyway) arrived with the backdrop of a commercial of epic proportions. Pink, the pop star whose recent Australian concerts were a sensation, is the new V8 Ambassador till 2012.
V8 Supercars chairman Tony Cochrane declared “She’s the greatest female artist on the planet in my books”. And V8 Supercars Australia is spreading around the planet with the series revving up for it’s first 2010 race in Abu Dhabi, UAE on February 18.
